Privacy Policy

Telatoria Interactive S.R.L - org. no. 38401, cares about your privacy. We are therefore careful about collecting information that can be linked to your person (so-called personal data). At the same time, we want to give you access to Telatoria Interactive learning platform, and give you the opportunity to save your activities, so you can see what progress you are making.

What information do we collect?

When registering your user account, we ask for your phone number or email. We do not collect social security numbers or any sensitive personal data.

 

You have the option to upload a picture on your user profile, but it is completely optional. You don't need to upload any image at all, and if you choose to upload an image, you can choose whether it's a picture that represents you or something else. However, you are responsible for having the right to upload the image you use. You also have the option to enter your name, completely voluntarily, in your alias so that we can provide you with a more tailored user experience.

 

If you choose to create a user account via your Facebook profile, you give us the right to collect the above data from Facebook. In connection with registering your account, you provide payment card details or credit card details to our payment provider Stripe (Stripe, Inc.) through our user interface. For this personal data, Stripe has a personal data responsibility towards you as a user.

 

When you use our service, we save your interaction with Telatoria Interactive, including exercises visited and solved. We do this in order to be able to save your current progress, adapt the content to the level of difficulty that best suits you, and so that you can start the service from the same place you left your last session at a later time.

 

How do we use the personal data we collect?

We use phone number or email to create a user account so you can log in and save your activities. We may also use information generated in the user profile in aggregate form to improve our service. We also want to be able to contact you with offers from us that we think are interesting for you.

We use modern and encrypted information technology, and we have routines to ensure confidentiality.

 

How do we store the personal data we collect?

We store your personal data in various cloud services within and outside the EU/EEA area.

We strive to only process personal data within the EU or within the EEA area. In some cases, it happens that our own or our partners have their servers located outside the EU or EEA area. In such cases, we initiate processes to enter into special personal data processing agreements that are adapted to processing outside the EU or EEA area.

Regardless of where your personal data is processed, we take measures to ensure that your personal data is not processed for purposes other than those agreed upon.

 

How long do we save the personal data we collect?

We save your personal data for as long as you use our apps and our digital learning platform, and one year after the end of the subscription. We do this because we want to be able to reach you who have previously used our service with targeted offers. If the law requires it, we may have to save certain data for a longer period of time, and we may also save data if it is necessary to fulfill our contract with you (in these cases, our processing of your personal data is not based on consent, and then it is also not possible to withdraw consent).

 

Third party data personal data

In some cases, it happens that we share information with our partners who provide services for us, so-called third-party data. It may include services such as data analysis, marketing services, email and storage services, support, payment services and services that process and administer consumer surveys.

 

Transfer of personal data

In cases where we transfer your personal data outside the EU/EEA area, we do so only under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or, in the case of the US, to companies that are self-certified under the Privacy Shield.

 

CCPA Privacy Notice

 

The California Code of Regulations defines a "resident" as:

 

(1) every individual who is in the State of California for other than a temporary or transitory purpose and

(2) every individual who is domiciled in the State of California who is outside the State of California for a temporary or transitory purpose

 

All other individuals are defined as "non-residents."

What categories of personal information do we collect?

 

We have collected the following categories of personal information in the past twelve (12) months:

Children rights

In the event that we learn that we have gathered personal information from anyone under the age of 13 without the consent of a parent or guardian, we will delete that information as soon as possible. We may also collect other personal information outside of these categories through instances where you interact with us in person, online, or by phone or mail in the context of:

Receiving help through our customer support channels;

Participation in customer surveys or contests; and

Facilitation in the delivery of our Services and to respond to your inquiries.

If you are using an authorized agent to exercise your right to opt out we may deny a request if the authorized agent does not submit proof that they have been validly authorized to act on your behalf.

 

Will your information be shared with anyone else?

 

We may disclose your personal information with our service providers pursuant to a written contract between us and each service provider. Each service provider is a for-profit entity that processes the information on our behalf.

 

We may use your personal information for our own business purposes, such as for undertaking internal research for technological development and demonstration. This is not considered to be "selling" of your personal information.

 

Telatoria Interactive A.S.R has not disclosed or sold any personal information to third parties for a business or commercial purpose in the preceding twelve (12) months. Telatoria Interactive A.S.R will not sell personal information in the future belonging to website visitors, users, and other consumers.

 

 

Your rights

You have the right to find out what personal data we process about you, and if any information is incorrect, you have the right to request that it be corrected. You can choose to withdraw your consent at any time, but only for the part of our processing that is based on consent. In that case, we will delete your user account. You have, with the restrictions that follow from applicable legislation, the following rights:

We are always open and transparent with how we process your personal data and if you want to gain a deeper insight into which personal data we process about you in particular, you can request access to the data.

 

Right to limitation

You have the right to request that our processing of your personal data be restricted.

 

The right to object to certain types of treatment

You always have the right to avoid marketing and to object to all processing of personal data based on a so-called balancing of interests.

 

Right to data portability.

If our right to process your personal data is based either on your consent or the fulfillment of an agreement with you, you have the right to request that the data concerning you that you have provided to us be transferred to another personal data controller (so-called data portability). A prerequisite for data portability is that the transfer is technically possible and can be automated.

 

Right to be forgotten.

In some cases, you have the right to have your personal data deleted, e.g. if the personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Please note that in some cases we need to save certain information according to law and are therefore not allowed to delete information.

 

Right to rectification.

You have the right to have incorrect personal data corrected. Depending on the purpose of the processing, you also have the right to supplement incomplete personal data. If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please send a request to privacy@telatoria.com . When submitting such a request, you will be required to identify yourself by submitting a photocopy of either your driver's license, passport, ID card or other documentation proving your identity.
